Description
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his record-breaking 110th goal to become the top international men’s goalscorer of all-time, so we worked with Nike and Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam to honour where his journey to greatness started.
As a child, Cristiano worked towards his goal to become the best in his neighbourhood, Quinta do Falcão in Madeira, Portugal. To celebrate a few of his many achievements, the local court was restored with moments of Cristiano’s journey on the goalposts painted by artist AKACORLEONE.
The accompanying film shows the proud island of Madeira and how the spirit of Cristiano Ronaldo is all-around. Filmed with a mix of digital, drone and 16mm, it was truly a pleasure to make it all come together through grade and online.
